Jon joined Zone in 2005, and has overseen the growth of the agency from 20 staff in a single office to the multi-award winning international operation of today. As CEO, he chairs the agency executive team, as well as leading senior relationships with blue-chip clients including Unilever, Aviva and BT. Prior to joining Zone, he held client-side roles at three of the UK’s biggest digital success stories. He was part of the team that launched the Guardian website back in 1998, before joining lastminute.com and helping create the brand behind the UK’s highest-profile dot.com start up. He then ran the website and digital communications for London’s successful bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games. An industry thought leader and regular commentator on content, digital strategy and business transformation, he writes a regular column for The Drum, and is in the BIMA Hot 100 and Drum Digerati lists of the most influential people in the UK digital industry.
Strange but true:
Jon once sat in the audience for a recording of the Jerry Springer Show in Chicago.
