Jake joined Zone in 2015 from specialist sports agency Pitch, where he was head of digital. He comes from an editorial background and cut his teeth creating digital motorsport content and sharing it with the world via dial-up on Autosport.com. More than a decade later, Jake has created, coaxed and carried out digital campaigns for a number of global organisations including UEFA for the Champions League, the Europa League and the Euros, Castrol across its motorsport and football sponsorships, Formula 1 teams, ITV, Sony and The FA. During his time at Pitch, Jake helped deliver digital content and strategic work for clients such as QBE, Virgin, Accenture, Foot Locker, the NBA and Betfair.
Strange but true:
Jake completely rebuilt his first car (a Mini) when the engine blew up, he can no longer eat baked beans having grown up on them as his dad worked for Heinz, he has interviewed more than 25 F1 drivers and he once gave David Cameron advice on folding bicycles. None of these events are related.
