Zone acquires digital agency Head

Addition of 40 new digital experts further bolsters our ability to deliver mission critical digital to our clients

We have acquired the award-winning digital consultancy Head. The deal, which will see Head move into our King’s Cross headquarters, consolidates our position as the UK’s leading independent digital specialist – as recognised by our status as reigning BIMA agency of the year.

Founded in 2000, Head is a 40-strong digital innovation, UX and technology agency, and brings with it an impressive client roster of blue-chip clients including Electrolux, Bayer, NHS, Coca-Cola European Partners, Pearson Education and Tesco.

Head’s arrival will further bolster our existing strategy, UX and technology capabilities, taking the agency’s team of digital experts to more than 250, working from offices in London, Bristol and Cologne. 

The acquisition is the sixth in Zone’s 17-year history, and is the latest step in our expansion plans boosted by the 2015 investment from the Business Growth Fund

A year ago we acquired Conceptbakery, a leading digital content specialist based in Cologne, Germany, which enhanced our ability to service clients across Europe. The integration of Head will further bolster that capability.
